VIVAH ~ A SACRED BOND OF LOVE : PART-8

3RD  June, Evening, @ RM : Sangeet Ceremony;

Today's theme was pink and orange; pink and orange drapes cover the wall of living room; decorated with coloring Moroccan lanterns. A magnificent stage made of glittering columns and golden fabric was crowned with pink roses and fairy lights; and set with gilded sofa for Arnav and Khushi; in front of the sofa  a golden low table kept decorated with two Aladdin Lamps and at the middle one Ali Baba Tea Pot. Sitting arrangement for the guest was done with elongated orange low sofa paired with rounded pink Silk cushions; big round pink carpet at the middle which was dance floor.

Nani, Mama & Mami were sitting on the right side front sofa;  Sashi, Garima & Bua sitting on the left side and  Payal not present  as she went to an audition for the lead role in a film. Arnav sat on the stage with Akash and Aman; talking with the guests who came to greet him and he was hell irritated with Aman and Akash's teasing.  He kept glancing at the stair;impatiently waiting for Khushi to show up.

Suddenly he felt the air around his changing. He turned towards the stairs and saw Khushi coming down accompanied by Anjali and Madhu. His mouth suddenly went dry seeing she looked Divine in pink and orange lehenga choli adorn with elaborate embroidery in silver and crystal work. His eyes traveled from her gorgeous face marked by her natural blush and gloss on her lips to her heaving bosoms delicately encased in her tiny choli. Arnav stood mesmerized at the same spot waiting eagerly for khushi to join him but to his annoyance majority of men in the room looking at her lustfully. He wanted to pulls out their eyes from their socket.

Feeling someone's gaze on her, Khushi looked at the direction to find Arnav looking at her intensely. He was looking dashing in his pink bandhgala and light navy blue dhoti pant. Due to his intense gaze on her Khushi blushed and looked down.

Madhu and Anjali brought Khushi on the stage and made her seat beside Arnav on the sofa.The lights get dimmed off and suddenly from nowhere the music started playing.

The spot light fell on Aman, Akash and two girls with them on the stage. Girls were swaying their hips with the music while walked toward them. Boys twirled around them with their perfect grin while girls kept on showing attitude with different expressions

Boys held girls' hands and pushed girls towards them so their back collided with boys

Girls jerked boys' hands; spun around and started pushing boys by their palms

Boys twirled around girls with dreamy expression and girls giving some thumkas while showing boys attitude

Girls were about to walk out there but boys held their hands and pulled girls to them

Boys twirled girls around them by girls hands and then did some bhangra steps

Boys picked girls off the floor twirled around and put them down; girls put their right hands on boys' shoulders and gave smile.

When the song finished, light came and everybody clapped. Then next came on stage was Anjali and Madhu and then the music start

Their face covered with veil and their back was facing to audience ; doing some steps

Girls twisting their waist with each other and walked forward swaying their hips with killer smile

Two boys joined them and twirled around them while girls put their left hands on their waist and swayed their hips

Girls freed their hands and gave angry glare

Girls placed their both palms over boy's chest and pushed backward

Grils spun around to push boys but boys grabbed their hands and twirlled around

When the song was finished, light came and everybody clapped. The lights got dim and a spot light came on Arnav and Khushi.


Anjali "Ladies and gentlemen's a special song for the special couple of the occasion "


Arnav held out his hand for Khushi. Khushi hold his hand and Aranv took her to dance floor. He put her right hand on his shoulder and put his left hand on her waist and they began to sway along with music.

Arnav pull her closer now that their bodies were touching now

His fingers traced the bare lining of her waist. She gasped going completely blank with that sensation that thrilled her entire body

He brought her back in his embrace; her back hit his chest he put his left hand on her waist and Khushi cover his hand with her left hand. His touch creating goose bumps in her

She spun around and hugged him hard hiding herself in his arms. Arnav's one hand was roaming around her bare waist and other hand was roaming around her bare back. It was creating havoc inside Khushi. She pressed herself more into him

Arnav twirled her and dip her with music; kept her lower in his arms. He then slowly pull her up in a way that their bodies glides together

Khushi snaked her hand around his neck; sway along with music

He again spinned her around him and then pulled her back toward him and turning her in front of him and she leaned back on his chest. His hands were on her waist and her hands rested over him; both eyes closed 





They song was finished. The couple came back to senses hearing everybody clapping for them. Everyone was watching them with an awe except Guptas. They were pissed off hearing how Arnav and Khushi as a couple look good together. Khushi was blushing seeing teasing grins on Anjali and Madhu's face while Arnav was puzzled in thinking what happening to him.

4^TH  June, Evening, @ RM : Mehendi  Ceremony;

Whole living room was decorated beautifully with fairy lights and pink & blue roses; moroccan style lamps on the floor;  pink and blue drapes cover the wall of living room according to pink and blue theme. Khushi clad in alluring pink double layered lehenga with off-shouldered corset blouse was sitting on a soft draped hot pinked colored canopy bed paired with rounded pink and blue Silk cushions and crowned with blue roses.

                 

Others sitting on blue dawan paired with rounded pink Silk cushions at the both side of Khushi; and a big circular table was place in the middle on which Mehndi plates were kept. Some mehendi song played and a group of girls dancing.

Nani came to Khushi; first did arati and then put a small mehendi line at side of Khushi's palm starting the ritual of Mehendi " Sada khush rahiye, Bitiya " kissed Khushi's forehead
  

Madhu called the artist and tell her to start on the design. The artist handover her design book to Khushi to select from it. Khushi went through the book and selected the design. Two ladies were putting mehendi patterns on both of her hands and other two on her feet. Anjali sitting of her right side and Madhu on her left side having their own mehendi applied.



Mami " Hello hi bye bye, write my Arnav Bitwa's full name on Khushi Bitiya's palm "

Madhu " Make sure the color will come out dark "

Anjali " Don't worry Madhu Khushi's Mehendi will be the darkest " teased making Khushi blush and lower her eyes



       



Guests were left and now only family members were now present. All were now on dining table for dinner. Arnav was feeding Khsuhi who blushing terribly, Aman feeding Madhu, Akash feeding Anjali, Mama feeding Mami and Buaji feeding Payal as their hands were filled with Mehendi.



Payal was inwardly cringed seeing Arnav feeding Khushi with so much love and care " Bua why your mehendi did not work on Khushi till now ? "

Bua " Paylia, the chemical start to work after 2 hours of mehendi appplying and after few minutes Khushi's hands will be burn and leave life time marks on her hands and legs "

Payal " Then ASR will leave her and will come to me. I will the queen of whole Riazada property " smiled evilly looking at Khushi who was meeting Arnav's gaze due to shyness




After sometimes Payal started shouting because of itching and burning sensation on her hands. All looked Payal.



Nani " Anjali Bitiya, take her to guest room "

Anjali was about to get up from her chair but Madhu stopped her " Di, you sit I will take her " got up from her chair



Bua along with Payal and Madhu went to Guest room. Bua washed Pyal's hands and they gasped to see Payal's hands burnt.


Payal " Bua, what happen to my hand ? " crying

Madhu " Payal you should know the chemical start to work after 2 hours of mehendi applying and leave behind life time burn mark " smirking while Bua and Payal gasped in horror



Flashback



Madhu saw Bua pour some liquid on Khushi's mehendi.



Bua " Pyalia, now Khushi's Mehendhi ceremony will give her immense pain. I mixed chemical in her Mehendhi and it start to work after 2 hours of mehendi applying and leave burn marks for life time "

Payal and Bua evilly smiled. Madhu saw Anjali and Nani came to Bua and Payal to greet them. Taking this opportunity Madhu exchanged the mehendi and gave the tempered mehendi to a mehendi artish and asked to apply this on Payal "



Flashback 




Payal " How Dare you ? " shouted

Madhu " How dare me ? you know what will happen if ASR came to your little stunt on Khushi ? " smirked seeing their horror face


They became silent seeing Raizadas entered the room with doctor. Doctor treated Payal's wound and told it would take time to heal her wounds.

5TH  June, Evening, @ Raizada Farmhouse : Haldi  Ceremony;

The entrance was decorated beautifully with yellow marigolds and red carpet for the guest. 

           

Their marriage would be here as it was much bigger and had more outdoor space for all the guests.

The whole farmhouse decorated with lights and flowers; living room decorated with pink and yellow drapers. Khsuhi clad in white saree in Bengali style with flower ornament and Arnav in white shirt and blue denims were sitting swing which decorated with flower.

           

Nani came to apply haldi on them. After that all came one by one to apply haldi on the couple happily except Guptas.

6TH  June, Evening, @ Raizada Farmhouse : Marriage  Ceremony;

Khushi was wearing a red bridal lehenga with gold jari work and the jewelries  Arnav gave her.

Madhu lifted the dupatta and put it over Khushi's head;kissed her temple " You look Beautiful Khushi. ASR gone today " smiled whereas Khushi blushed " Lets go ASR waiting for you in Mandap "

           

Arnav felt a breeze. He turned around to see Khushi walk into the mandap  in his favorite red colored lehenga with Madhu. Khushi's heart skipped a beat seeing him looking handsome in white and gold combination sherwani.

Suddenly there was no one else in the room. They looked into each other's eyes and lost. Arnav put the garland on Khushi and smiled. She took the garland from Madhu and put it on Arnav. He helped her sit down and then sat down next to her. The priest chanted mantras, so Khushi closed her eyes and brought her hands together in prayer. Arnav watched her smiling for a few moments and closed his eyes too. Anjali came and did the Ghat-Bandhan. Sashi and Garima halfheartedly kept Khushi's hands in Arnav's.

                                          

Priest " Now stand up for Phere. For 7 vows, first 3 vows groom is front and remaining 4 vows bride is front "

Arnav and Khushi stood up for phere. Arnav came to front and started to walk.

                

First Phere  -  Prayer for provision and nourishment

In the first Phere the couple prays to the almighty to provide them with nourishment and pure food so that they can live the life together with respect and honor for one another. They pray to the almighty to make them walk to together and get the food.

Second Phere  - Strength

With the second Phere, they pledge to grow as one in mental, physical and spiritual strengths so that they can enjoy life and share their happiness.

Third Phere  -  Prosperity

In the third Phere the couple promises each one to earn and raise wealth by honest means and give comfort to the family. They also vow to share all the joy and sorrow together. The wife promises to be devoted to her husband and the man vows to respect and love his wife as the one and only woman in his life.

Priest " Now bride come front "

Khushi smiled and came front to take vows.

Fourth Phere  -  Family

With the fourth Phere, they promise to take care of their elders in the family and not to disregard and forget them. Together they pledge to strengthen and maintain the family relationship.

Fifth Phere  -  Progeny

In The fifth Phere, the couple prays to the almighty to bless them with good-looking, kind and courageous children. They make a promise to be responsible parents and provide the children with fine education and fundamental values of life.

Sixth Phere  -  Health

With their sixth Phere together, the bride and the groom pray to divinity for disease free and healthy life for their families and themselves so that they can lead a harmonious and balanced life together.

Seventh Phere  -  Love and friendship

In their seventh and last Phere together, the couple swears to be a faithful companion. They also promise to live a life of love, friendship and mutual trust. The couple ask god to give them the wisdom of maturity so that they may live as friends for lifetime.

Seventh Phere Completed. After that both sat again in front of holly fire.

Priest " Now fill the Maang and tie the Mangal sutra "

Priest chanted mantras. Arnav took sindoor on a coin, lifted Khushi mangtikka and placed the sindoor along the parting on her forehead while Khushi closed her eyes. 

            

Some sindoor fell on her nose. Arnav brought his hand down to wipe it but Anjali grabbed his hand to stop him.

Anjali shook her head  " Let it be Chote . It just shows how much you love her "

Arnav tied the mangalsutra around her neck. 

          

Khushi closed her eyes to capture the moment in her heart to cherish all her life. The thing she had never ever dreamt of But it had happened today; NOW SHE IS HIS WIFE.

Priest " Now you both are Husband and Wife "
